In this commercial, they make the Porsche car look so beautiful and like it's the center of the universe. The camera angles that they film the car with give that effect to the viewer. The constant moving of the camera also keeps the viewer engaged so that one would want to keep watching. The change of settings from a room to a desert surrounding makes the car stand out, giving the viewer a feeling of the need for autonomy. Since the Porsche is the only car on the road in the middle of nowhere, it makes the viewer feel that if he or she drives the car, then they will stand out and the need for autonomy will be fulfilled. The need to nurture appeal is also seen when the cute little boy is viewed driving in the front seat. I think the seller also uses snob appeal since the car seems to be shining and perfectly clean, almost as if the car is being glorified. The desert surrounding also gives the viewer a sense of adventure, that if one drives this car, they will be more adventurous taking more trips and vacations on it.
