McDonald's Billboard Ad

When I saw this billboard in Spanish while passing through a Mexican neighborhood, I remembered the movie we watched in class right away about the technique that Frank Luntz used to advertise. He discovers the needs of the public in that certain neighborhood and addresses it. Since it is already spring time and most people like to cool themselves off with a cold drink, they could notice the billboard and be like, "That looks really good. I should go buy one of those for myself."  However, since many people in Mexican neighborhoods don't speak English, McDonald's even put the descriptive text in majority-spoken language. Even if one doesn't speak English or Spanish, the McDonald's yellow 'M' sign is so popular that pretty much anyone living in America that sees it will recognize it. Therefore, I think McDonalds' technique on this billboard ad is very effective on many people.
